Do you offer scholarships?
We
are pleased to offer 5 student travel scholarships for the 2008 travel
year. Each need-based scholarship is worth $500 and will be
applied to the final cost of the tour. Students interested in
applying for a CETA scholarship should contact CETA
Tours for an application.
Do I need to collect my students'
payments?
We ask that teachers set an application deadline and collect
their students' applications and deposits to mail into CETA as a
group. This helps teachers gauge the actual interest in their
tour and determine if they will need to do more recruiting or perhaps
open their tour up to other schools.
Once CETA receives the packet of student applications, each student
will receive an "Acknowledgement of Deposit" in the mail,
confirming their participation on
the tour. Invoices for all subsequent payments will be
mailed directly to the students' homes.
Can my students make their payments with a
credit card?
Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. Our goal is to offer a tour
that is affordable to students and accepting credit cards would add
another
3-5% to the price of the tour.
All checks or money orders should be made out to "CETA Tours" and
include the trip code and participant's name.
