Itinerary
The first step in designing a tour is to contact us and let us know what you want to include in the tour. You can fax or e-mail us the itinerary you have in mind or call us and we can go discuss your ideas for your tour.

After we have the details of your itinerary, we will get back to you (usually within a week) with a proposal for your tour. You can let us know if our proposal includes everything you want in your tour. If not, we will make changes according to your specifications. Once you accept our proposal, we will work with you to set a departure date for your tour and begin promoting it to your students.

What happens after I have accepted the proposal or chosen an Organized tour to join?
The next step is to promote the tour to your students. The best way to do this is to hold a parent informational sign-up meeting. At this meeting, students who are interested in going on the trip and their parents, come to hear information about the trip.

To help you out, we will mail you brochures with the dates and itinerary of your tour. The brochures also include the payment schedule and cancellation policy for your group as well as an application.
CETA also provides customized posters for you to display in your classroom.

We also include a personalized PowerPoint presentation with all the information you will need to hold a successful and informative meeting.  If your school is located close to us, our student program director can come and run the meeting, if you wish.

When is the first payment due?
We like to have applications and the initial deposit in the late spring or early fall of the year before the trip departs. We recommend setting a deadline of two to three weeks after the initial information sign-up meeting.
