Customized Tours Customized Tours is part of our name because that is the main focus of our business. Most of the tours we arrange are customized. No other company puts more effort into customizing each tour than we do. With a customized tour, we will design an itinerary according to your specifications. With over 30 years of experience, we can work with you to offer your students a memorable trip they can afford. The information below will give you an idea of how you can indeed plan your dream tour. With a customized tour through CETA Tours, you will be able to decide From which city you wish to depart The date you wish to depart The length of your tour The type of accommodations in which you wish to stay The cities and sights you want to include The meals you want to include The option to include a family stay The teacher to student ratio for your group The option of leading the tour yourself or choosing to have a tour leader for your group The option of receiving a teacher stipend From which city you wish to depart If you live near more than one possible departure city, we can help you determine which city would work out better by giving you the price difference between them. We can also advise you as to which city will have a better flight schedule. The date you wish to depart When deciding your departure date, in addition to the working around your school calendar, we will also advise of dates when air fare is lower so you can help keep trip costs as economical as possible for your students. The length of your tour When you design your own tour, you can set the tour length based on what you want to include in your tour and what you think is a good length of time for both you and your students. The type of accommodations in which you wish to stay With over 30 years of experience, we are familiar with many different types of accommodations. Regardless of the type of hotels or student centers you want for your group, you can be assured that the accommodations we provide are clean, safe and appropriate for students. We will also book specific hotels for your group, if you have a certain hotel in mind. The cities and sights you want to include If you have a specific itinerary in mind concerning which cities and sight-seeing you want to include, we can give you a proposal based on your exact specifications. We will also be able to tell you if your ideal tour is feasible and give you tips on what might make it even better. If you do not have a specific itinerary in mind, we will be able assist you in developing an itinerary that will be best for your group. The meals you want to include Breakfast is always included as part of the tour costs. You can decide if you would like to include other meals. Lunches, while not impossible to arrange, are more difficult to include due to the scheduling of sight-seeing and touring during the day. Many groups like to include dinner as a part of the trip cost. They are usually served at the hotels or student centers. It is also possible to arrange some of the dinners at local restaurants. If you have a specific restaurant in mind, be sure to let us know. The family stay option Let us know if you would like us to include a family stay in for your group. We can make arrangements for family stays in Germany, France, Spain and Costa Rica. If you have your own family stay contact or have a GAPP exchange program, let us know how you want to include that in your tour. With our customized tours, you have the flexibility to simply have transportation to and from the family stay included. Or, if you would like, we can arrange excursions or other activities that you want to take during the family stay. The teacher to student ratio for your group The teacher to student ratio is the number of full fare paying students that enable teacher/chaperones to receive a complimentary tour. With our customized tours, you can determine what that ratio will be based on the age of your students and the needs of your group. Whatever ratio you choose, the tour price is pro rated for additional chaperones. The option of leading the tour yourself or choosing to have a tour leader for your group We can provide a tour leader to manage your tour from start to finish. (Many leaders will fly over with your group, while others may meet you en route or at the airport of your destination city). If you do not wish to have a full-time tour manager, you can lead the group yourself. If you choose to lead your group, we will provide you with all a leader book a few weeks before you depart. It contains all of the necessary contact information for the bus company, hotels, local guides and sights as well as the vouchers and other proofs of payment for everything. The option of receiving a teacher stipend If you wish to include a stipend for your teacher chaperones, or a salary for leading your tour, let us know and we will include that in our proposal. Whether you know exactly what you want to include, or would like some help in planning your itinerary, we would like to have the opportunity to show you how it is possible to offer your students your ideal tour at a price they can afford. It is important to keep in mind that it usually takes a group of at least 25 students to keep a customized tour reasonably priced. However, we have made arrangements for numerous groups with fewer than 25 students.
